Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai is a distinguished legal scholar, administrator and educator, currently serving as Vice-Chancellor and Senior Professor at National Law University, Delhi.

An expert in criminology, criminal justice, victimology and empirical legal research, Prof. Bajpai holds a doctorate in victimology and completed post-doctoral study as a Commonwealth Fellow at the University of Leicester, UK.

Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul

Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul is a distinguished legal academic and administrator at National Law University, Delhi, where she serves as Professor of Law and Registrar.

Dr. Raghav Pandey

Dr. Raghav Pandey is an Assistant Professor of Law at National Law University, Delhi, specialising in insolvency law, corporate restructuring and regulatory frameworks.
He holds a Ph.D. in Insolvency Law from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, an LL.M. from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and an M.A. (Law) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Before joining NLUD, he taught at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and has also served as visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune.
Dr. Pandey is the author of The Law of Corporate Insolvency in India: Resolution and Liquidation (Thomson Reuters, 2021) and has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics spanning insolvency, feminist jurisprudence and criminal law. He brings interdisciplinary insight into legal doctrine and policy, enriching both teaching and research. Justice S.K. Kaul
Former Judge, Supreme Court of India
Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul is a distinguished jurist and former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, whose legal career spans over four decades.
He earned his LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, in 1982 and subsequently enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi.
Throughout his practice, Justice Kaul appeared extensively in commercial, civil, writ, original and company matters in both the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.
He served as an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court from 1987 to 1999, was designated a Senior Advocate in 1999, and acted as Senior Counsel for prestigious institutions including the Delhi High Court, Delhi University and the Delhi Development Authority. Elevated to the bench in 2001, he served as a Judge of the Delhi High Court, before becoming Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in 2013 and Chief Justice of the Madras High Court in 2014. In 2017, he was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India, where he contributed significantly to the jurisprudence on constitutional law, civil liberties, and commercial disputes until his retirement in December 2023. Ms. Mamta Suri

Ms. Mamta Suri is a seasoned regulatory leader and expert in financial sector governance and insolvency frameworks.
She served as the first Executive Director of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), taking charge on 16 August 2017 and shaping the institution during its formative years as the statutory regulator under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
Before her tenure at IBBI, Ms. Suri was Chief General Manager at the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), where she oversaw key functions including finance and investment, compliance, internal audit, risk-based supervision and corporate governance for the insurance sector.

He serves as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at the Essar Group, where he oversees legal strategy, corporate governance, compliance and risk management across global operations.

Dr. Meenakshi Parida

Dr. Meenakshi Parida is an Assistant Professor of Economics at National Law University, Delhi, where she contributes to interdisciplinary teaching and research that bridges economic analysis with legal policy.
She joined NLUD in 2023, bringing a strong foundation in quantitative research and applied economic thinking to legal education.
She completed her Ph.D. in Economics at the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru, under the University of Mysore, and has experience in both academic and research roles across economics and policy domains.
Prior to NLUD, she served as Assistant Professor of Economics at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics, Bengaluru. Her research interests include productivity and efficiency analysis, energy economics, competition economics, public policy, and climate change and climate action. Dr. Abha Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Law at National Law University, Delhi, where she teaches courses such as Regulatory Governance and Architecture, Competition Law, Law and Public Policy, Freedom of Information, Labour Laws and related subjects, bringing strong interdisciplinary insight into regulatory frameworks and legal analysis.

She also directed the Forum of Indian Regulators (FOIR) Centre, curated flagship courses on regulatory governance, and edited the Regulatory Digest. Dr. Abhishek Malhotra

Dr. Abhishek Malhotra is an Assistant Professor of Economics at University of Delhi, where he specialises in urban economics, public finance and the Indian economy, bringing a strong research-oriented and policy-relevant perspective to economic teaching.
